Health Surveillance can detect Occupational Asthma at an early stage. Employees requiring surveillance include: -
• Paint Sprayers/Powder Coaters
• Welders
• Chemical Workers
• Bakers & Pastry Makers
• Timber Workers
• Animal Handlers
Due to exposure to
• Isocyanates
• Colophony & Fluxes
• Flour & Grain Dust
• Aldehydes & Wood Dust
• Animals
Lung Function (Spirometry) tests can be carried out on-site. The test will include a Respiratory questionnaire, Lung Function (Spirometry) test, Interpretation of Results & Report. A Lung Function (Spirometry) test duration is approximately 20 minutes per Employee.
