FIRST AID AT WORK CERTIFICATE
A three day course registered and approved by the Health & Safety Executive.
This course enables Employees to become a Certified First Aider in accordance with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981
Three and a half days tuition which covers
• Dealing with Accidents & Illnesses
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
• Choking
• Dealing with an Unconscious Casualty
• Legal Responsibilities
• Control of Bleeding
• Treatment of Fractures
• Miscellaneous Conditions e.g. Diabetes, Epilepsy, Head Injuries and many more
A half day assessment which includes practical skills tests and a multiple choice question paper. Successful candidates receive a H.S.E approved certificate valid for three years.

FIRST AID AT WORK RE-QUALIFICATION
A two day course for Employees wishing to renew a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.
The certificate must not have expired by more than 28 days. Candidates will only be allowed to attend the course if they bring their current certificate to show the trainer at the first session of the course.
The course content is as above but it will be to refresh the candidates knowledge and will take one and a half days.
The assessment will be as above.
